This policy covers the website hayula.com. It is short because the site collects almost nothing. Hayula Ink, our iPad app, will have its own privacy policy when it is released.

1. Who we are

hayula.com is operated by hayula, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Hayula”, “we”). Contact: the contact form on hayula.com.

2. What this site collects

• No accounts. The site has no sign-up. The contact form does not send anything to our servers: it opens your own mail app with your message ready, so you send it from your own address.
• No cookies, analytics or advertising. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics services or ad networks.
• Story progress. The interactive story remembers completed chapters in your browser’s session storage so you can revisit them while the tab is open. This progress stays on your device and is cleared when the browser session ends.
• Fonts. Fraunces and Inter are hosted with this website. Your browser downloads them from the same site as the pages, without contacting a third-party font service.
• Hosting logs. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep short-lived server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and reliability.

3. Email

If you write to us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to answer you and handle any follow-up, then delete them.

4. Links to other services

The site links to our Instagram and TikTok pages, and in future to the App Store. Those services are run by their operators under their own privacy policies.

5. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA) you may have rights of access, correction and deletion. Write to us and we will act on them.

7. Changes

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top.
