Most creative tools stop at the finished work. Hayula does not stop there. Its purpose is that a drawing, a story or a page does not merely exist, but is documented, provable and protected, and can then earn for the person who made it.
Hayula is not a list of separate apps. It is one integrated system: apps that are connected to each other and serve one goal. Creativity and documentation are the core of that plan; earning is what they lead to.

hayula, LLC is a limited liability company organized in Delaware, in the United States. It exists to build the Hayula system: creative software that is fast, native and honest about what it does, and that leaves the rights to every work with the person who made it.
We work in order: one product at a time, finished properly, released when its turn comes.
In classical philosophy, hayūlā (from the Greek hýlē) is prime matter: the formless substance that has no shape of its own and can receive every shape: the raw material of everything that exists, before form is given to it.
That is the idea. A creator starts with raw material: a blank page, an idea, an hour of quiet. Then gives it form. Hayula builds the material and the tools; the shape, and what it earns, belong to you. Our motto follows from the word: Author. Manifest. Shape.

Hayula Ink is an illustration studio for iPad, built natively for Apple Pencil. It is not a tool for one kind of work. Single pictures, manga, manhwa, comics, magazines, cartoons and more are drawn, lettered and exported in one quiet, fast app, from the first rough sketch to the finished page. It is the first door into the Hayula system: made for people who draw every day, and for people drawing their first page.
Hayula Ink is in development and will be the first Hayula release on the App Store.
They will not be released all at once. Each one has its place in a precise plan prepared for Hayula, and each is released only when its turn comes, one after another, until the last of them: Hayula itself, the app whose whole idea and purpose is that people earn through their creativity, with everything they make documented and its ownership protected.
The names, the number and the dates stay sealed until their time. Each release will be announced here first.
In 2026, hayula, LLC filed provisional patent applications for the core technologies of the Hayula system: not one app, but the integrated whole, the connected set of Hayula apps built so that people earn through their creativity, with every work documented and its ownership protected. Those applications are pending. Until they are published, the technical details remain confidential, and Hayula carries the mark patent pending.
“Patent pending” means that an application has been filed, not that a patent has been granted. We say it plainly, because the people who use our tools deserve plain language.
